Falls Jewelers Coach of the Year Honors go to Glass

Following an impressive perfect season and capturing the NCHSAA 3A State Championship, Joe Glass of Hickory High School has been named the CarolinaPreps.com – Falls Jewelers Coach of the Year.

Glass took over at Hickory in 2021, and in three short seasons was able to turn the winless program that he inherited into undefeated state champions, and did so by passing through a minefield of incredibly tough teams, including back-to-back-to-back wins over undefeated teams (West Henderson, Dudley and Seventy-First) yet coming out unscathed.

An official award presentation will be made to Glass at the 2024 North Carolina Football Coaches Association Winter Meetings in Greensboro in February.
