Coaching Staff for 89th Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas announced

Tarboro's Craddock and Liberty's Sutherland selected as head coaches

The coaching staffs for the 89th Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas, set to take place this December, have been announced.  Established in 1937, the Shrine Bowl is the oldest high school football all-star game in the nation, showcasing some of the top players from North Carolina and South Carolina.

Jeff Craddock, the head coach at Tarboro, will lead the charge for the North Carolina team.  Craddock, who was an assistant for the 2011 Shrine Bowl, boasts an outstanding career record of 247-47, all at Tarboro.  His tenure includes eight state championships and five state runner-up finishes.

Paul Sutherland, the head coach at Liberty, will guide the Sandlappers. Sutherland has a head coaching record of 141-93 in South Carolina, with 17 years at Pendleton and the past four seasons at Liberty.
