West Stanly brings Jackson back home to lead Colts

The Stanly County Board of Education has approved the hiring of Ralph Jackson to become the head football coach at West Stanly.

Jackson, an alumnus of West Stanly and Fayetteville State University comes to the Colts following nine seasons at Anson County.  Before that, he was the head coach at North Stanly and he holds a 58-92 head coaching record.

He ran wild as a running back for the Colts in the early 1990s.  A 1992 graduate, he still holds several school rushing records.

Jackson replaces Brett Morton who spent seven years at the helm of the school’s football program.
