I found out that Weathers Creek high is projected to open in 2027/2028 season. Also their mascot will be the Falcons. I’m curious to see will this drop South Iredell down to 6A. With both Weathers Creek being 6A as well.

So I did get to go and see Lake Norman girls soccer team play at LN. The new turf really looks awesome. It’s done and the game was played on it. Anyone can get a chance go and check it out. I’m looking forward to when South Iredell gets their new turf done. To my understanding it will be next year when they get it,

I’m not yet really on top of where teams are in such whether they are 1A or 2A and etc.. But looking at the list above I could see a team like Robinsville making a good run. It’s going to take me at least a season to get use to who is where. With it being split conferences I will have to get familiar with,

That non conference schedule  will be great for Mooresville

So to my understanding the conferences are finalized.
Here is my conference I represent

Mooresville
Lake Norman
South Iredell
Statesville
North Iredell
Davie

Watch for rising QB for Lake Norman. Played last season at 6’4 as a freshman. I can see big potential in this player. Could be even better than Ladowski.  He also plays basketball on the varsity team. They have a good chance at winning the State in 4A basketball. I can see Mooresville and Lake Norman for battling for 1st in football. It’s still long ways to go. I think over time we will see this conference may not be as bad as we think.
Also hearing that Mooresville may have a tough non conference schedule. Have to wait and see. It just hear say for now.

So it looks like Lake Norman Charter is moved to another conference from the 3rd draft. The other teams look to stay the same.

So to my understanding if this information is correct. The final draft comes out Monday. We will see. Looking forward to see if any changes have been made.

I seen where someone did their own personal proposal for Conference 7.
AL Brown 7A
Cox Mill 7A
Hickory Ridge 7A
West Cabarrus 7A
Central Cabarrus 6A
Piedmont 6A
Sun Valley 6A
I thought that was an ideal conference. I  like to see that happen.
