From what I saw there will be a price increase for the playoffs for all sports.
Here is an example

Football.
1/2 rd $10
3/4 rd $14
Regionals $16
States $20

Also the mercy rule in football will change from 42 to 35 points.
Not sure how I feel about the mercy rule but I seen teams were  down by 5 TDS and seen the other team would make a comeback. Maybe not win the game but kept it close. Also I see where this also can rob reserves from getting playing time. They work hard and would like to see some playing action. I can also see where this would help keeping the game from getting really out of hand.

They work hard during practice. Also I could see where this can keep a game from really getting out of hand. Of course coaches have far more knowledge on this than I do.

I don’t know if I like the 35 point mercy rule at halftime. I remember years ago Brown played at Burlington Williams, Brown was up 34 to 0 at halftime and lost 35 to 34.

Anyway if a team is in the losing end of it I could see them wanting to get out of there and go home.
