84K, what’s your thoughts on how AL Brown will do this season coming up.

This could be the best team they have had in a long time.

A.L. Brown has the potential to be pretty decent this year.  I don’t think that they’re necessarily a 10-0 kind of team, especially with the likes of Mooresville on the schedule, but I do believe the Wonders could have their best team in recent memory.

I think that 7-3 or 8-2 is doable.  The season-opening game against Porter Ridge will be a key indicator in my mind of what we can expect from the team.  While the Wonders are 4-2 all-time against the Pirates, I think they’ll most likely be underdogs, and their performance will help me decide how strongly I feel the season could be.

I think the conference will be a toss-up between Kannapolis and Olympic, but I think the Wonders will have a shot at the league title.

Assuming that junior A.J. Settles is the quarterback, I think he’ll be a change in direction from what we saw with C.J. Gray behind center.  While Settles has nowhere near the arm talent that Gray had, I came away really impressed with what I saw from him against South Rowan last year, he was quick with the ball and can be a solid passer and rusher.
