4th Annual ENC HBCU Combine & Showcase April 25-26 at Farmville Central HS

The Eastern North Carolina Historically Black College and University Combine & Showcase, known as the ENC HBCU Combine, was established in 2021 with the goal of providing an authentic football combine  experience in which high school student-athletes could gain exposure and expand their recruiting portfolios.  In addition to providing a platform for student-athletes to showcase their athletic ability, the ENC HBCU combine serves as a vehicle to educate students and parents about the college recruiting process.  The ultimate goal of the ENC HBCU Combine is to offer a platform for students to maximize all opportunities for exposure with the ultimate goal of receiving scholarship/financial aid consideration for college football programs.

On April 25th, we will host an NCAA Informational Seminar on the campus of Farmville Central High School, located in Farmville, NC. We will have representatives from various HBCUs in attendance, along with members of the ECU compliance office to educate young men about items pertaining to the NCAA, such as clearinghouse, GPAs, NILs, and much more. Also, we will have current and former HBCU student-athletes there to give their personal testimonials about their HBCU experience and words of advice. Doors will open at 4:30 for check-ins, measurables, and floating dinner. Program will begin promptly at 5:30pm.

On April 26th, the Athletic Combine and Showcase will take place on the campus of Farmville Central High School. Late registrations and check-ins will begin at 8:00am, along with breakfast. The opening ceremony will begin promptly at 9:00am and will conclude at 3:30pm. Players will be tested on 40s (digital timing), 5-10-5 shuttle, 185lb bench, vertical jump, and broad jump. In addition, players will perform individual offensive & defensive drills in front for recruiters and end with 1-on-1 sessions.
