I noticed the Nowell kid was at 126 at the Dekota Smith tournament. Is that what weight he is going to wrestling. That’s a big jump from 106.

With 360 kids and alot still playing football he's probably just filling a open spot. Im really surprised we beat TC

The kid from Avery that beat him last year may not be wrestling this year. He had shoulder surgery.

I know this is an SMC thread but Mtn. Heritage defeated Mitchell in wrestling for the first time since Mtn. Heritage has been a high school. Pretty good accomplishment for the Cougar squad.

Congrats

Seems like Mitchell has falling of some at Wrestling. Most 1a schools are good at Wrestling  or football but not both.

Is Nowell ok. I noticed he got hurt maybe at Falcon Frenzy.

I hadn't heard.

I was keeping up one the Falcon Frenzy on trackwrestling.com. Noticed he got beat in the semis and didn’t finish his next match and forfeited the 6th place match. Was hoping he didn’t get hurt.

Hurt his knee. He will be okay.

You should look up Robbinsville Wrestling Facebook.

Glad he is ok dont want to see anybody get hurt especially somebody that’s got a chance to win it.

I don’t do Facebook. I’ll get my wife to show me.

We don't look like a team that's supposed to be in a down year.

Avery finished 5th in the Holy Angels. 2 2nd place. 1 3rd place and 1 4th place. The top 4 teams in points were from Georgia, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Georgia. Avery had the highest finish in points for a NC team.

Odom split the team between Enka duals and the one in Cherokee.

9 went to Cherokee and 14 to Enka I think. Not sure how they split them up.

Howell might have been at Cherokee, I'm not sure.

This is what track wrestling had if it helps.

Hey Knights, what's going on with Robbinsville wrestling?  They whipped our butts back in November, yet they finished almost last at the Cherokee tourney this weekend, which I fully expected them to win.

Why would they schedule two on the same day. Was it a mistake scheduling and he was fulfilling  his commitment? Or did they send the non starters to the other site? How many kids came out for Robbinsville this year?

A new rule allows you to split a team up 3 times in a year.

9+14=23kids. Unless some was out we have 23.

I'm not sure how coach split them up.

Knights Avery did pretty good in a tournament in Bristol,Virginia Saturday. Avery 220 had to go up against the 3rd ranked 220 in the Country from Georgetown Prep in the finals. Kyonte Hamilton he is committed to Rutgers. He won Beast of the East this year.
