  1. I know I brought this topic up before but decided to bring it up again for those who are new or haven’t been on the site for a long while. But which is the your favorite or best HS band you seen. Since I brought this out last time I had seen on YouTube James F Byrnes of S.C. I was really impressed with the numbers along with the performance they put in year after year. I have seen some good quality bands in the State of N.C.

    CAM

Is the Cam Newton era finely about over? Maybe by this time next year I can become a Carolina Panthers fan again. As long as he is on the field, I will pull for the Panthers opponent.

    Hickory Motor Speedway

I thought I would start a new topic about racing. This next Saturday Hickory Motor Speedway will have it’s 3 annual Throwback 276 race on Aug. 3. 138 laps for the Super Late Models, 138 laps for the Late Models. Throwback is where they recognize the legend drivers from the past. Whether it’s from the Big NASCAR events or from the regular short tracks of the regular late models and such. Also at Hickory they will have 6 legends drivers. Ernie Ervin, Brett Bodine, Dave Marcis, Dennis Sezter, Billy Hess and Tommy Houston. Before the race starts they have what they call fan fest. Where the fans can meet the drivers and also be able to meet these legends. They can auto graphs signed. The grandstand opens at 4. They will start with the late model qualifying at 4:30 and Super Late Models at 5:05. Race starts at 8. It will be a packed house. Also some of the cars will have a color scheme that will represent legend drivers from the past. I think one will have Bobby Allison that is painted like a car he drove from the past. Also the same number as well. Last year Bobby Allison was one of the legend drivers they had present. I’m planning on going this next Saturday so hoping for some good weather.
  6. Myles Garrett needs to be arrested and banned from the NFL for life for this move on Pittsburgh quarterback Mason Rudolph (Former QB from Rock Hill Northwestern). This was not a football move, it was assault with a deadly weapon. Get his ass out of the league, there is no use for this stuff in football.
  7. A big CONGRATULATIONS to AC Reynolds alum and former football player Luke Combs on his CMA awards last night. Song of the year and Male Vocalist of the Year. The AC Reynolds family is so proud of you.
