Forbush makes head coaching change

EAST BEND – Chris Johnson has just informed his team that he’s no longer the head football coach at Forbush as he and the school are parting ways after 10 years on the job.  The Falcons posted a 7-5 record in 2019 and lost to Reidsville in the first round of the playoffs.

Johnson came to Forbush in 2010 following a successful run as the defensive coordinator at Mount Airy.  He posted a 44-67 during his tenure as head coach.
