Wayne Jones announces retirement at HP Central

HIGH POINT – The Greensboro News & Record has reported that the head football coaching position at High Point Central will be opening as Wayne Jones has announced his retirement from that position.  Jones has spent the past 13-years as the leader of the Bison football program, and 30 years overall at the school, posting a 76-81 record during that span.

Jones has also served as a very successful track coach and physical education teacher.

The search for his replacement has already begun, interested applicants can send their resume to Athletic Director, Mike Cook at cookm2@gcsnc.com.
