Kannapolis Construction Update

KANNAPOLIS – Progress continues to be made by construction workers from Medallion Athletics to get the synthetic field turf installed at Kannapolis Memorial Stadium.  The project began on July 9th and is well on its way to being completed prior to the Wonders opening kickoff, which will be played at home against Ashbrook on Friday, August 30th.

In addition to the field being completely leveled, a concrete retaining wall has been installed between the playing field and the track, and next up will be layers of rocks and a drainage base added before the turf can be rolled out.
