Hyatt steps down at Piedmont

MONROE – Luke Hyatt has just informed his team that he is stepping down as the head football coach at Piedmont High School.  Hyatt was hired in 2015 following the death of Ron Massey and he’s posted a 15-30 record leading the Panthers.

He began his coaching career at Anson County where he became the Bearcats head coach in 2009 and remained there through the 2014 season.  He has an overall head coaching record of 42-75.
