Pair of NC Coaches hits 100 wins

A pair of North Carolina head football coaches hit the century mark on Friday with their teams victories.  In Hickory, the visiting Watauga Pioneers defeated Hickory HS 43-23 to earn Ryan Habich his 100th career win.  Habich, who began his coaching career as the head coach at Fuquay-Varina now has a 100-33 record.

With Riverside Martin’s 25-8 victory over rival South Creek, veteran head football coach Asim McGill earned his 100th career win giving him an overall record of 100-63.

These coaches joined an elite group of only 57 head coaches in the Tar Heel State that has hit the 100-win mark.

Next up for this honor is Kings Mountain head football coach Greg Lloyd who now sits at 99-wins.
