Facilities at Richmond County looking as good as ever

ROCKINGHAM – In my opinion, the Richmond Raiders program has been the standard bearer for many years when it comes to excellence both on and off the field, and the football facilities were always a step above nearly everyone else in the Tar Heel State.

However, as good as the Raider facilities were, they had seemed to be showing their age and if we were to be perfectly honest, the playing surface at Raider Stadium has not always been the best, but in my most recent visit, I was in awe at the level of work that has gone into bringing them back alive, and alive they are!

Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of pride and elbow grease to make a stadium, a locker room, coaches offices, and athletic fields look great.  While in this case, I think it has taken a bit more than that because it is very evident that the school system has invested a lot of energy and money into making this schools’ facilities look #1 again.

Check out the Richmond County stadium page and you’ll see what I mean.
