Jairus Hamilton to Boston College

Jim Christian and Boston College have struck again in North Carolina, Cannon School senior forward Jairus Hamilton is off the board and is headed to Bean Town. He will join fellow North Carolinians Jerome Robinson and Ky Bowman on the Eagles’ roster next season.

Hamilton made the decision last night at 6PM on twitter after also considering Villanova, NC State, Maryland and Mississippi State. Boston College ended up pulling out the commitment from Hamilton after Christian and staff watched Hamilton at The Chick-Fil-A Classic front and center.

Hamilton is a hybrid four on the position chart. He is a long and athletic forward that can play on the wing and step out and knock down the three-point shot on occasion. He can handle the ball in some scenarios and can defend.
