Just looked at the Stallion roster. They list Ten(10) Running Backs and if ya count the QB who compares with the rest I expect the Stallions to rack up the yards tonight behind a line that has been described by Coach Padgett as:

"They will make a good back look really good, and a really good back look really, really good". Surley out of the 11 above mentioned ball carriers we will find one or two....."REALLY, REALLY GOOD ONES"...

Look for the kicking game to advance a few notches above last year. And maybe.....just maybe we might see a pass or two in there somewhere tonight...

10 RBS!! Wow SWO 1 is that the most you could recall on a SWO roster ever!? I can not remember a team in SWO history with that many backs!! Like you said got to be atleast one or two really good back ha!! Can't wait Sounds like SWO might put themselves back on the map this year!!!

UNC.....The most I can remember before is 8. Big thing is of the 10 only 4 seniors. and of those 4 I believe just 2 got limited touches last year.

And if what I have heard there are some young STALLIONS on JV to boot. The STABLE looks to stay stocked for quite a while.

For all interested, another link to the braodcast of the game....From the East Bladen point of view. I'm partial to Billy and Melvin on the game broadcast. Yes they are TOTAL HOMERS....but they tell it like it is, good, bad, or indifferent for SWO. I might check out the other announcers about the second half and see what they have to say and how they call the gamel. It's hard to beat the Dynamic Duo of SWO. They always give the play as it happens, player involved, yardage, down and updated score OFTEN.

Of course the 2003 Eastern Championship 2A game is remembered as one of the Great Stallions wins ever. Let me answer this one for you UNC, ummmm. It is going to be a damn good game man! Offensively Jacksonville has nothing for SWO, but defensively they are not going to make mistakes and scoring will be very limited.

I saw Jacksonville play Laney tonight, and I am going to be honest Laney had almost just a much size and speed as SWO defensively so I can pretty much say if they could not score, but once on Laney they will prolly only score once or none on SWO (Turnovers excluded).

But Jacksonville's Defense is going to give us a hard time. Laney's QB favors SWO QB a lot in there style and he was able to make some plays on the ground and air, I can say SWO RB as a group are better than Laney's and SWO offensive line should be slightly better.

It is early but I am going to go SWO 14 JH 10. This might be the best football game between Onslow county schools this year. Maybe Northside and Jaksonville will be good also.

TWO YEARS AND JACKSONVILLE WILL BE TOP 5 IN THE STATE.
