April 9- Rocky River HS in Mint Hill
April 16- Watauga HS in Boone
April 30- Riverside HS in Williamston
-Eligible to participate are current juniors who will be seniors in December of 2011.

You'd think with 2 coaches from Fayetteville that they would have a combine in that area.

Maybe they thought with two coaches from the Fayetteville area they would know the talent in the area well enough without a combine.

Not a fact, just a thought.

After talking with Coach Bailey, he told me that the shrine bowl coaches have no say-so in where the combines are held. Apparently this is decided by the shriners and Jim bob bryant who works these combines for the Shrine Bowl? I know that Coach Bailey and Ledford were both disappointed not to have a combine near the fayetteville area.

Well with that I stand corrected. Thought it might have been a reason.
Maybe it is not to late for them to speak up and ask the Shriners to consider placing one there? The coaches should be getting together for their first meeting soon to discuss such things.
