I'm sorry you think I have sour grapes, cause I don't. You never have nothing good to say about any juniors, whats the deal with that. I ask you that once, you beat around the question. What are you gonna do with the juniors, Michael, Bomar, Turner, and Cory stand them on the sideline. Sometimes coaches ruin a program, I know you don't want to think that but its ol so true. You are dead wrong all the kids at Mitchell aren't treated the same, its who you are and who your kin to. And as far as begging you may have to eat those words cause you may have to come this football season. I believe that some of the kids could give it everything they had and still wouldn't get there spot. As far as Josh he deserved it. So how about giving our juniors a chance, and not just the junior lineman and QB but the others as well.

You keep saying I never say anything good about the junior class, Parkins is a junior right, he is our leader. Anyone that goes out for the team has the same shot as the other guy. All kids at Mit are treated the same, REPEAT ALL KIDS AT MIT ARE TREATED THE SAME! Like I said in a earlier post, its a honor to play football at Mitchell. Not everyone can start or be a star, sometimes you have to accept that or go elsewere.

Sounds to me like you would rather see kids go elsewhere. No everyone at Mitchell isn't treated the same, ask some of the past students, they will tell you the truth. Parkins is all we have in the junior class, WOW!! Guess what he's had plenty of help from his junior players before and done great. I'm beginning to think you've closed your eyes during all the games cause you don't know who's good and who's not.

Isnt this the same junior class that played in the tri county bowl in middle school? They had a dang good team, but I know that some kids quit in high school because of the coaches and McClellan who played at Harris transferred to Heritage.

McClellan will be a star at Heritage, he has all the tools. Very glad that he made the right decision.

We have all we need, we have a good group of kids that we can depend on. Other schools would love to steal our talent, just like last year the 4-horsemen knew to stay at home. Why would any player ever want to transfer, we have the best coaching staff around. One thing about Mitchell,if you have talent Russel will find you a spot.

Same junior boys except McCellan cause he moved. So please tell 82 how good they was, and still are, if used right on the field.

Now we have a good group of kids, you go from one to the other. Since now we have good kids, how about giving our junior class the credit they deserve.

For the last time, we do have some good kids in the junior class. Its a very solid group, many of them will be support players, some of them will get playing time, thats my take but I am not the head coach, Russell will figure it out.

Son, we will have a good team this year, you just wait and see. And MH will have a lot of talent, buts its very raw. We will play with what we brought to the dance, unlike other teams. I am very confident with the seniors, we will have up-front and with play makers that we have, Parkins has a big arm.,Ryan is a good cut-back runner. Plus couple more players will step-up, and I like our chances in the conference.

How does everyone feel about this new conference. A lot of drive time coming up with this. Just hope the old teams in the conference can keep up with draughn and east Burke. Maybe playing closer to Charlotte, some long overdue credit will be given to teams west of hickory.

Personally, I like the Western Highlands conference. This new conference will be less travel time for us, Morganton is lot closer then Polk County. I know its early to make predictions, don't see anyone in this new conference being able to play with MH, they will be loaded in 2013. Mitchell should have a decent team in 2013.

The junior class at Heritage has more athletes from top to bottom. It is the best junior class in the WHC and not even close. There's so much talent in that class its almost not fair. We have a big line-Cody "the Hammer" Morrow 6'1" 270 and strong as an ox. Jp "the Bully" Tabor 6'1" 225. Randolph "the Pitbull" Roberson 5'9" 250. Jake "the Punisher" Virnelson 6'0" 250. This line is quick and strong. At qb, we have Trevor "the Gunslinger" Robinson. He can run and throw and he is accurate. Those throws will go to Jake "the Snake" McClellan. In the backfield, we have Ty "the Gamer" Byrd. He reads his blocks good and runs hard. I may be leaving some out but that's a loaded junior class. This team is more talented than last year's Mitchell team. I know this team is young and it may take a few game to gel but they'll be right at the top competing for the championship. They may even win it!

Do you think you might be over exaggerating those numbers Heritage? Sounds like you might be 82's relative!!

I know one thing for certain. Morrow weighs a lot more than 207 lbs.

Heritage fan,agree that is a strong junior class the best in whc. Feel like coming out of the gate, you guys will struggle because of the youth. It will take about 5 games,for the kids to adjust into there roles.

I dont mind the new conference, but I like the WHC a lot better. At least there keeping Heritage, Avery, and Mitchell together. Mitchell82, you have kept saying over and over that you would rather have your line because they were bigger than Heritage's upcoming line.....If there bigger than what Heritage4life said (and his numbers may even be exaggerated just a little bit), and Ryan is as good as you say he is, you should have NO PROBLEM winning the WHC next year...........I just dont see it....

Not going to predict a victory over MH this year, do I think we can beat them yes. Heritage has some good looking linemen, but we have the experience advantage, that playoff run last year gave the kids confidence. I love this senior class, they will out work most kids. This team could win the conference, but sometimes you have to have a little luck, the biggest concerns I have is quality backups, we are not as deep as MH, COUPLE INJURES could sink us.

Our basketball problems had nothing to do about politics on varsity Mens . Program had a good person who had never coached before. But we still beat mitchell twice and won 17 ball games had 3 all conference players . Oh forgot to tell you 2 of them? One was from Mitchell one from Madison so don't try to to sell Burnsville has problems even close to ledger. Our roster has plenty of kids from the 28705.
