Heard that the coaching staff was going to give the other QBs a look, but in the end Parkins will be the QB. Cory is a good hard nose player, I personally love his attitude and he is a smart player, he definably will play in the secondary, also he will get some reps at RB. Do not believe we will move up as many sophomores, as I have previous said. Mitchell country is going to be surprise with this team, Avery has no ideal how talented we are.

You are the only Heritage left lol! Talk to couple guys that I know from Heritage, they are telling me they do not know what to expect this season. I gave them my honest opinion, the Cougars are to young, the line is not big and strong enough, to handle physical teams like Mitchell and even Madison. Heritage will be better then last season, you guys have some speed, but the line play is going to kill you. You guys have 3 sure loses Erwin, Hville and MITCHELL, Owen and Madison both can beat you, you could win both those games or lose both. Also Polk can beat you, but I feel like you will win that game. Avery,Thomas J, NB, Rosman are sure wins. Look like 6-4 for you guys, thats my expert opinion..

You will be surprise son, Heritage has the athletes to have good pass defense, you guys lack the fundamentals, Erwin is going to light up your secondary, the difference between us and you guys we are very discipline, that's why we do not bite on play- action. Our assistants coaches, do wonderful job teaching the fundamentals, plus Russell knows how to get the most out of your talent.

Playing 10 to 15 yards off the receiver is good fundamentals? I can see where they wouldn't bite on play-action they would have to run 20 yards to bite. HaHa

You must be a coach at MH, by the way you guys run zone coverage, most the time your players do not know their assignments. As a fan watching Mitchell defense the kids are always in position to make a play. Mitchell hides their coverages, other coaches have a hard time figure it out. Its a pleasure, as a fan watching coaches that are so good at their craft. My personal opinion, Mitchell has 3 coaches that are as good as any in Western NC.

Hendo was better than Swain? Or could it just been that Swain had a bad game vs you guys. Also mATCH Ups have alot to do with it. Swain and Robbinsville are 5-5 vs each other and Murphy and Swain are 5-5 the last 10 games But Murphy is 8-2 over Robbinsville in that same time frame. So see it is more of a match up thing.

Us and Swain match up well, believe me Hville had more talent then Swain. Personally the WHC was down last season, both Polk and Heritage were down. Not taking anything away from Swain, they are a well coach team, and deserve to beat us. But to be honest they had a cake walk, we had to face Hville they played doormat Avery. Our team was run-down at the end of the year, Swain was much fresher playing sorry teams.

I have had the privilege meeting Dee, he is the best coach in the SMC, and one of the best in the state. The Knights are very fortunate to have a coach of that caliber. Green, our secondary needs work, we got one corner that is going to be good. Heard over the weekend MH needs lot of help in the secondary. I am confident our coaching staff will fixed the problems. Brevard should be a decent game we should win by at least 14

Polk we will take care of business
MH should be a decent game the champs by 10

Green, as I have said in the past, 2013 is your year. Not this season, you guys are breaking in a first time varsity starter, they will be so much pressure, plus your line is not big or strong enough to play with the big boys. Another year in the weight room and you guys should be ready. My opinion looking at Mitchell roster, after this season we lack the overall talent that MH has, you guys are very athletic. After this season we will have to rebuild, that something I hate to admit. Even as good as our coaching staff is, talent wins out.

Not trying to piss off the Heritage folks y'all are some good ppl, but Erwin should beat Heritage by a few td's. Just too much on both sides of the ballfor Heritage.

Look for 2013 game to be a classic, the 2008 game at Erwin, Heritage went 80 yards in 2 min and won that was a great game. In 2009 Erwin gets 2 onside kicks last 4 min, and Jackson scores on the last play and Erwin wins, them was some very good games. Erwin has a good chance of winning the Mac this year.
