Okay now that the dissapointing injury marred season has come to a close and UNC now knows who is gone (pro) and who is returning we can only look forward to next year. McAdoo will be back and hopefully help shore up a depleted front line. UNC will have a new point gaurd in. High scoring Marcus Paige. Roy will have to do a better coaching job next season to make UNC a contender. UNC will be loaded with wing players, Paige, Bullock, Strickland, McDonald, PJ Tokoto who has the athletic ability of Vince Carter (some are saying) newcomers Joel James and Brice Johnson will hopefully get better fast and help give some depth to the front court. The transfer from Uconn could also be a big help if he chooses UNC. All in all its going to be a roller coaster type of year for UNC basketball, it will be a year in which they will not be favorites to winn ACC or National titles. Heels better learn how to shoot from the perimeter and defend on a consistant basis to be a contender. Let's here some thoughts (no bashing). State is my pick to win conf. Next year.

If Leslie returns, State is the favorite in the ACC imo. If he leaves, I like UNC to win the conference again.

I feel pretty good about next year and think the Heels will win a lot of games. I like the freshmen they have coming in and I think McDonald is going to have a big year.

The Heels will be okay.....they'll have to play a much different game than this season....it will be imperative that they hit the outside shot. The Pack are my pick to win the conference, with or without Leslie. Duke won't be that bad either, I hear Plumlee is coming back....so Duke will have a shot as well. I don't anticipate my Heels winning the conference, but they will make the dance.

UNC has hired Hubert Davis as an assistant coach, this could be huge in future recruiting. Hope he teaches our wing players a thing or two about shooting the 3.
