You can watch #25 Robbie Lovejoy this Friday night at 8:30 on ESPNU against UCLA in Final 4. Starter for #1 ranked Tar Heels. Glen Long also on team but does not start. Matthew Mill playing for UVA and Nyepon playing for HPU. What a team that was!

Pretty cool watching ex-Pirate Robbie Lovejoy get a great header for the Heels to tie game and Heels come through on PK's to advance to finals vs UNC Charlotte.

Never forget the HS final where Robbie got 3 goals against Green Hope as Page won the State and now a goal in Final 4. wow! Now he has a chance to be a National Champion! Sunday at 4:00.

Pretty cool to have two NC teams playing in the finals. I am pulling for Lovejoy and Long but I gotta pull for the team that gave me a quality education. Go Niners!

That referee should be fired.
1) He does not need to be on the sidelines. He was always in the wrong place. 2) I understand letting them play but it got to a point where there were fouls in the box for both teams and he didn't call them. You gotta call those. I watched quite a few of Lovejoy's games when he was at Page, the kid has ridiculous speed. Congrats UNC. |

Refs were terrible. Agreed. UNCC outplayed UNC-CH but they could not put the ball in the net. Thus Lovejoy and the Heels have a National Championship.
UNCC should be proud of their effort and should benefit from the TV exposure as far as recruiting goes. Lots of outstanding soccer players in NC. |
