But Shockey did say on twitter, "Looks like im going to sign with Carolina". Thats a HUGE signing for the Panthers. Shockey may not be what he once was....but he give the panthers a viable option to attack the middle of the field...and we FINALLY have a TE that can run down field

Now they have to find a qb to get him the ball.

Not a Shockey fan but not a Panthers fan either so I guess I have no opinion....

i think they are ok at QB...they just need the pieces around Clausen/Moore.

Shockey is good when healthy... thats the thing he can't stay healthy... its good they got a player that can take some heat off of steve smith... question now is who will be qb new year (i say trade clauseen for a 2nd round pick or another first rounder and get a decent qb)

no team will give up a 1st rounder for just clausen.

Absolutely....NO TEAM will give a 1st round pick for Clausen...or even a second round pick...they aren't gonna trade Clausen...but they may trade Moore, get a 4th or 5th round pick for him. Clausen will be better next season....how much better remains to be seen.
