Wilkins will wrestle somewhere between 126 and 138. Hard to pick a weight until they start practicing everyday and see how much of the summer weight they lose.

Your list looks strong. It would be hard to argue any of your selections. I'll throw Walker Stephenson out there as a contender. Not sure of his weight this year. The younger Emery brother has a shot. Adonis Lawson from Dorman is in the mix. Cizmadia at FM, probably 145ish. Just a few that I think will contend that's not on your list.

132: Baker

138: Mansfield

145: Brayden

152: Brandon/Cambell/Wall (I think this will be a very competitive weight class this year.)

I agree with most of these.

I think Jordie won't ever see anything under 120 & Pencil Manos in at 285 if he wrestles.

From what I hear Manos is graduating early to go to USC for football.  He isn't wrestling this year.

I was going Eastside at 106 and 120 - 132.
BHP at 113 and 138. Christie at 170. I think Jordie is probably 120/126. Riley and Ben probably win it at 126/132. Trevor will probably tech everybody. Trenton should be the favorite at 113. Tucker or the York kid at 106 are probably the favorites. I said it at Fargo and I still think Chase B from Eastside will win a state championship this year.

I will take Haile from Chapin at 195 or 220 to win State this year. Chapin should have 2 more kids that will make a good run in Hodges and Hurley.

I agree with your choices from Chapin they will be strong contenders. I personally saw Haile beat Barnes (twice) and Smith last year with ease in the postseason. I hear Chapin could have a couple more in the mix also.

Smith has gotten a lot better against leg riders this off season.  Last year was only Smith's second year wrestling so he was still pretty raw.  He has definitely developed into a more complete wrestler.  But I agree that Haile is a very good wrestler and it will be an exciting match to watch.

Chapin will be strong at several weights.  I agree that Cole Haile should be expected to win State.  His sophomore brother, Shawn, who qualified last year has the potential to go deep as well.  Hodges excelled at the Virginia Tech camp this summer and is poised for and excellent season. Hurley was on a tear last year before an injury in the second round of the State Duals sidelined him.  Finally, don't forget about Devin Wilson from Lugoff-Elgin; a perennially strong wrestler whose season also was cut short by injury.

I keep forgetting Lugoff is 4A. Yeah, Wilson should be included.
