Here are the new photos from yesterday's visit to Statesville High School. While the stadium is officially known as Statesville High School Stadium, its affectionately known as "Greyhound Hollow". The stadium is a magnificent facility that has a very large concrete grandstand that towers above the field.

I also added several photos from inside the weight room and coaches offices.

Chris, I hope Montgomery County builds the new stadium the right way. Turf has floated around here last several months

I hope they do it right, I was told by some folks in the community that Bob Jordan had stated he wanted to be heavily involved in the plans for the athletic facilities.

Statesville does have nice seating but they do need a few upgrades with like the bathrooms, field, and few other things

It's 24 rows high compared to about 40 rows high at Scotland.

They have made a major improvement in the playing field.  In all honesty, it was the worst I'd ever seen about 4 years ago.  When I was there last Fall, it was much better.  In fact, it was good

As we both know, Scotland is a different animal.  The Scots have one of my favorite stadiums but need to improve the visitors side.

Stadium is fine. Field is god awful year after year. Plowed fields looked better.

If you want a little trivia the current away side was actually the home side up until the 70s when the current home side was built.
