Hendo should be able to put a lot of points on the board. They should also have a very good defense. Pisgah, and Franklin should be fighting for second.

But hey what do I know.

I agree that Hendersonville should be favorites, and I pretty much agree with you about Pisgah and Franklin fighting it out for second, but I think Smoky Mountain will be improved as well to get themselves in the mix.  I will say this though, I won't count out either Franklin or Pisgah from being able to knock off the Bearcats.

Hendersonville should come out on top. The Bearcats have both Franklin and Pisgah at home so they must capitalize on that. Franklin and Pisgah should battle it out for second. Chris is right about Smoky being in the mix late in the year. They have Hendersonville and Franklin at home, so that should help them a little. Having Franklin at Carr Hooper the last week of the season should help rekindle a dying rivalry.

Brevard could be third through fifth and East should bring up the rear.

Asheville C-T preview on Franklin.

Interesting note in the article, the coaches pre-season rankings had Franklin as the favorite.

As much as I hate the small conference, I'm pretty stoked about how strong it is.  Between Franklin, Pisgah and Hendersonville the Mountain 6 should be well represented in the playoffs this year.

Will be some great games between these teams. My Bears have a strong non conference  schedule that will help come conference times.Look for a dog fight for first between Pisgah,Franklin and Hendersonville.                                                                                                                                                          Yeah we have to go to Hendersonville but Franklin has to come to Canton. Most Pisgah fans had rather go to Hendersonville than the Panther pit.

This is a very tough conference at the top. I feel bad for East Henderson... lets hope they can make a turnaround sometime soon. I think the winner of the Franklin/Hendersonville game will come out on top of the conference. Franklin is stronger up front arguably, but Hendersonville definitely has more team speed and explosiveness. Pisgah is solid but not spectacular this season I have heard.

1. Hendo

2. Franklin

3. Pisgah

4. Brevard

5. Smoky

6. East Hendo

I think Hendersonville remains the favorite with Pisgah slipping into second place. Franklin struggled a little bit in their scrimmages and that worries me a touch.
