If, and its a big IF..Hayesville can keep the core players from last season and add a few kids in key positions and get a little more beef on the line, they could easily sneak into third place. Robbinsville will compete as always.
It's Murphy's to run away with and Swain and Cherokee will be left to play for second place. After that...who knows.
3. Swain / Hayesville

I don't see Swain finishing 4th! I would have to say Swain will put up a solid fight for 2nd with Cherokee.
Hayesville will fight for 4th vs Robbinsville.
Andrews and Rosman will fight for 6th and 7th.
Just my opinion.

Swain is not finishing 4th, they'll either be 2nd or 3rd this year.
I know it's a fools errand to project into the future but I'm going to give it a shot. The SMC in 2018 should be a lot more competitive but I still look for Murphy to take it (especially if that QB transfer happens, if it does then it's lights out), Swain and Robbinsville will be in the mix for the top spot though. 2019 is anyone's guess... Swain, Murphy and Robbinsville are all capable of winning it on paper, I could easily see a three way tie for the top spot. Swain should be the clear favorites in 2020.
