With a couple of new faces joining the MAC how does everyone see this panning out? I know the Usual suspects will be at the top but what are everyone's thoughts? How has all the teams looked thus far and going into summer?

Roberson may challenge for first place this year, Erwin and Reynolds will both be athletic but young at some places. Asheville should be improved, while the rest of the conference will be pretty bad

ACR is returning 6 all conference players from last season. The road to the MAC championship will through Fairview not Skyland. I could see TCR second but don't forget Tuscola. They will be in the upper mix. The MAC hasn't seen that type of offense in a while. I see Erwin and Asheville fighting for 4/5 place with a crap shoot on the rest of the teams.

Isn't it the Western Mountain Conference now?

I agree with Cougars on the order of finish. North Henderson could have had a really good year had the Ensley boy not left.

I'd say that's pretty close. top 3 pretty good, bottom 3 not so much. 2 and 3 might go either way.

Yeah they'll spread you out, they'll be like a smaller less atheletic christ school, Robbinsville will be the much more physical team

1. ACR - They should be a handful this year

2. Asheville - They are still the most athletic team in WNC every year

3. Erwin - Best rb in the conference and plenty of athletes from what I seen at the 7 on 7 out there.

4. Tuscola - Lost their dynamic rb but still will be a strong team

5. West Henderson - I don't see them beating the top teams but they could pull a upset

6. NH - Lost a great player to their county rival.

7. NB - Same old coach, another year

8. Enka - who knows

Oops...Had a brain fart. I would put TCR slightly above Erwin.

Ashevilles strengths this year will be up front. OL/DL, and LB. believe we return 4 OL, basically 4 on DL if u count the ones that rotated, 2 LBs, And probably one of the best defensive player in the state in Andrew leota at DE/OT other than that we breaking in new starters in every where else including a sophomore QB.
