The largest bands I've ever seen were Reagan's and Asheboro's.  Those guys seem to roll about 200 deep each year.  Some of them guys had instruments I didn't even know existed.

My favorite bands in the area are Dudley, Smith, NW Guilford, HP Andrews, and HP Central.

Two bands have kept my attention during a performance. West Charlotte and Parkland of Winston Salem. Now this has been 10-15 years ago so who knows how they look now.

Louisburg used to have a pretty sizable band for their size. Something like 40% of their student population was in it and talking to people there, that didn't include football players.

In the eastern part of the state, the West Carteret Marching Patriots are one of, if not the best, marching band.
