It really is; I loved scrimaging there when I played.

I figured he'd go eventually here since he's been coaching for 18 years as an HC but very late in the process to happen. Just hope they make a good hire; I would hate to see Alleghany downgrade badly.

I like Sessoms a lot; very pastoral with his offense but he got a ton out of his kids every year. Without him North Stokes probably woulda never had a winning season again. He took his time and made that place into something. Alleghany too. Much respect for him.

If he's retiring I hope he relaxes and enjoys himself

According to NC Preps Alleghany made their hire. They picked Noah Lyon.

Chris know anything about him or this hire? Someone on NCP said he has been at AL Brown. Not sure if is the same one or not though.

AD at Kannapolis. He's been on that staff for years as the D.C., he's also been at Richmond as an assistant. He and his wife are from Sparta, this is a home run hire for Alleghany.

Well 4 and 0 to 4 and 6...will be 7 next week. Im glad we dont have to play north stokes again...they would probably beat us. Thats how bad its gotten. Why we dont have our qb and best tackler playing on defense anymore i have no idea. Coach calls running plays for very little yards on 1st and 2nd downs then has to pass on 3rd down and defense knows its coming. Why not try and pass on 1st and 2nd down instead of always waiting to 3rd. None of that would make us win anymore games...but my goodness mix it up a little bit. Sad thing is our best players graduate and i suspect an even worse team next season. I wish they made more hamptons in sparta like Luke and Jake. They never even sniffed the sidelines...kids today going both ways are dying out there. Need some more tough players.

You make tough players in the off season. In the weight room. Gotta get them in there and go to work asap.
