That could make or break Hough season

I don't think so, Hough is absolutely loaded this year.... they will be just fine. May struggle early but they'll be rolling he seasons end

I don't buy it. Coaching and leadership matters. Say what you want about Aldridge but they never won a playoff game before he showed up and he won a conf title in a league with Palmieri, Newsome and Brand.

Depends on who they hire but in the last 45 days they have lost a D1 QB and a HC. That's not a small deal

It takes a lot more than being loaded! You just don't feel in the blank and keep it moving. It's so so much more. Aldridge was an elite coach. Not a lot of guys like him sitting around in May looking for a job.

Point I was making was the talent (at least the paper talent they have) is good enough to keep their season from tanking. Do they drop from that select group of title contenders... probably. But I doubt they become a .500 team suddenly (so long as the players stay)

Where did Aldridge go? No way Grier comes back to NC. Unless his D1 QB comes with him, but I doubt it. Hough season just drastically changed when the HC and D1 QB left. One you got is way, way, way, way far from being a D1 prospect. Good kid though.

No way Grier comes back. Maybe Castellano the old RC coach gets this job. I've heard several credible sources including two asst. coaches drop his name.

Now that would make sense. I know he turned down a job in Charlotte already.

I could see Coach young possibly being in the mix here if he ever does apply. I think McNeely at Lake Norman would also be a great fit, but I do t think he would be willing to leave Lake Norman. Just a couple names I see as being a really good fit at Hough. Not sure what direction they'd go if this is in fact true

Hard to imagine Grier making a about face and coming back but it does beg the question to be asked. If this move was made 3 months earlier does he grab this spot and does Hartman stay with him? Would have really been interesting.

I believe outside of Mallard Creek this might be the best job in CMS

Like I said Above: This could make or break Hough's Season especially since this is a LATE coaching change.

I would like to see who is interested in this job bc Hough is a good place to coach with great facilities and talent.

Better chance of getting Gibbs to come out of retirement.

Sounds like it was FAR from a mutual parting. Certainly can't argue about his results.
