E. Burke girls cruise 75-23

Freedom girls will host SW Randolph Thursday before the boys take on Piedmont.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”

Really improved from the team we saw at the Christmas tournament.

Erwin took away the 3 ball from south in the first half... Smothering defense at the perimeter...South made 0 3's in the first half, and trailed 32-20 at half. South got their rhythm and cut it to 40-40 after 3. Then sounded like South just couldn't get over the hump and hold a lead

Tough loss for South Iredell boys losing to Erwin losing 60-56. Not a bad season for SI boys. Maybe with the Jvs boys only losing two games and the jvs girls only losing 1 game the varsity teams will have something to build on in the future. Congratuons to the Vikings for hanging in strong for the season. Good luck to the rest of the NPC that advances on in this tournament.

Stunned! The Tigers occasionally showed signs of being decent, but never would I have expected that!
