I am almost certain that I went to school with Clay Beach's father who was also a wrestler.  Beach may be the first FHS state champion wrestler in over 30 years (Jevon Morris won in 1985), no one knew of another one when I asked around at the basketball game last night, including the sports editor or the local paper.

Allegany gets a champ at 145. Program has suffered some since the tragic accident of one of their wrestlers six years ago. Good to see more titles for a proud program.

Win by Hibriten's Hayden Wyke. This kid is just a sophomore. More titles could be in his future.

Cherokee always has good support for any sport.  Was there a big crowd there to cheer on this kid?
