After the roughest season in program history (besides their first,) Cummings HC Jauron Holman has reigned after 3 years at the helm accoring to the Coaches Board on MP. Holman went 12-24 in 3 seasons after suceeding longtime HC Steve Johnson. His first two years went okay including a playoff win in 2015 before it all went down this season.

Where does Cummings go from here? Or in the words of Mary Todd Lincoln: "Can it recover?" I guess we shall see.

Aren't Cummings and Graham about to merge to be one school?

Those rumors have been flying around for a few years now so who knows? Cummings demographics have changed quite a bit in the last 10 years where the deep pool of athletes that lived in that district are leaving. I remember talking to Coach Johnson about it while he was still there. Still sad to see it happen. Cummings was an elite program for a long time.

Cummings is a shell of its past. Cummings was feared across the state much like a Shelby and Reidsville program.

Didn't take long for Cummings to go into a free fall...they were still making deep runs into playoffs up until the last 2-3 years....Their team this year was pitiful (0-11).................Reidsville was up on them 58-0 in the first half this past season........And these 2 teams had some classic matchups in the past.....very sad...............................

Wonder which opening is the worst.  Cummings or Rockingham County?

Cummings. Rockingham's a nuke zone but Cummings is like getting hit by an Asteroid simular to what killed the Dinos. Rockingham has it's negative and toxic drama and the not the best athletic/superstar players in the world but they played hard for Stadler and if they get the right boss who runs the program well they can do so too.

Cummings's future's very much in doubt. It's hard to tell if they will even stay open or not. If they fold it'll be awful for you guys because Reidsivlle's conference will loose another team. It's very sad though; just shows what change in culture and county meddling can do to a program.

Either the program will fold, they get a short termer who can keep it afloat for a bit, or they oddly become dedicated and get a solid coach to try to fix it. I lean option 2 more than anything.

Very sad indeed.
