Oh Ram...how lucky you are. Anyone sending the NCHSAA a thank you letter for split classes? You could still be without one since 1970 if it wasn't for that.

I doubt that we were the best team in 2a most of those championship years, I'll pull up some of those teams if you'd like. congrats to shelby I think it will be another 28-7 type game for you guys,

Once again shelby fans stuck in the past were talking about this year, this year's games, this year's playoffs. Nobody can deny shelby dominance over the past what 50 years but once again we talking about this year

7 (really 0 as the score was on a KO )

About 11 ppg (10).

Huss was athletic. They were good. I'll give them that. Best team we played all year. Completely changed up their O coming into that game. They confused us.

Fact- Shelby and South Point puts athletes on the defensive side of the ball. Little lesson for programs wanting to play for titles.

Absolutely! Year in and year out state champions, only 3 miles separating them, husbands and wives divided, families and cousins divided, church members divided....doesn't get any better! 10k+ in attendance.

You ever attended Paul?

I have not but it is on my list if bucket games. I'll give you the state titles and the athletes buy I'll take 16K and all the hype at Pisgah and Tuscola as the best in the state.

Pisgah and Tuscola is a great rivalry but that non sense about 16k in attendance is crazy. Watch the highlights of any of the games and look at the stands.....and yes I've been to the game. It's about half that most years, maybe 10-12k at very best.

Kinda like the 5'8, 150 pound kid soaking wet. Program says he's 5'11, 175.

So true about those program weights and heights.

Lol.. Monarch let them keep running that gator. They will be in for such a rude awakening come Saturday. Why do these people think that Northside is going to lay down for them? Or that they have not ran into stiff competition. They will get humbled.. just watch.

Shelby has been to eight state championship games since the year 2000. Only twice have they not won the title. Their bitter rival who is also in Shelby, Crest High has also been to eight title games since 2000. I'd say the city of Shelby is the best place in North Carolina to catch a football game.
