Tonight Cox Mill travels to East Rowan in a SPC conference matchup as well.  Wendell Moore is one of the nations top 3 Sophomores along with Chris Carawell's son that played at Duke in the late 90s.  Would be a fun team to watch get up and down the floor.

I hate that W Montgomery won't get another crack at W Stanly.  WM played that game with only six players.

Mooresville boys lost 73-54

Mooresville Girls lost 49-38

Probably the best refereeing crew I have seen in a while , they let the teams play tonight.

Mooresville guys miss a lot shot n was just a off night for the Blue Devils , Hopewell is very solid team but Mark Sherrill is very good player for Hopewell, Good leader n he changed the game in 3rd/4th.

Girls: Hopewell team is very very tough, #11 and #21 are very good players They are senior heavy but very good but Mooresville fought hard and played well vs Hopewell

Got to see CJ Thompson from Erwin play this summer. He can definitely play and his defense may be even more impressive the the offensive numbers. Can put alot of pressure on an opposing point guard.

Also saw a kid that was really impressive from Freedom. Not sure of his name but he was definitely a gifted athlete and stood out on the floor.

Flesh that out about the kid from Freedom (race, height, post or wing) and I can probably tell you who it is.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”

African American kid probably about 6'4" or so. I imagine he would be the best player on the team. I'm pretty sure it was Freedom. May have been Patton.

Nobody lol. Honestly they just completely imploded mentally in the second half. Went in to half up 28-26, Hopewell outscored Mooresville 28-9 in the 3rd. Once things got tough, and Hopewell punched us in the mouth (figuratively) we folded. No leadership on the floor and that's a concern. They definitely have the talent to do much better than that.

I would say early on Noah Allen and Tay Davis were playing well. I love how Tay attacks the basket- I think they need to do more of that instead of settling for jump shots. Noah played great defensively... forced many turnovers.

Salisbury beat Lake Norman 76-59.

But the thing that blew my mind, Lake Norman forced 32 Salisbury Turnovers..... and lost by nearly 20. How is that possible
