Well it looks like the Panthers are proving the "experts" wrong as they keep on winning.  They sure looked impressive to me today in their 33-14 victory over Dallas.

Dallas looks like a team that's just not hitting on all cylinders. The Panthers dominated the game from the beginning.

For the past couple of weeks all the sports-talk shows on ESPN have said that Arizona is "the best team in the NFC".  After tonight, I don't know how they could continue to say that.    KEEP POUNDING!!!

BTW-did we at least clinch a playoff berth with the win?  It looks to me like the Bucs and Seahawks both have 5 losses and that is what we would end with at worst.  We beat Seattle and would end up with a split at worst with Tampa.  If either loses Sunday we have to have clinched.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”

And, of course, this morning Sportscenter compares the '72 Dolphins and...

The Golden State Warriors.

Because, apparently, that's a more appropriate comparison than the 11-0 Cats.
