2014 NCAA Football Season - these CHS Spiders are still working and grinding ahead in collegiate programs and are those actually found on their teams 2014 NCAA Rosters:

Burk is listed as a LB for P/C - #48

 

Swaringen rostered at TE for WCU / Fall 2014 - #86 

  

Maganda-Ganzales is a Kicker for Morehouse - #39

 

B.J. must have burned a year in the transfer. Wingate has him listed as a So. / QB - #18

 

Neils at WR for Tusculum College...

Logan is listed as a db

 

Logan's playing Safety.. the "Rover" position.

"Projected to start" it was asked... at the NCAA level... Coaches bring those players into Fall Camp they want to look at and work with... players compete as coaches determine two at each position as their position players... some additional are selected and special teams... this is basically the travel squad... A fluid situation subject to change but it is a tough nut to crack for any freshman or even sophomore... 110 or so footballers in the overall program / about 90 make it into fall camp & on to the official team roster / only 60 or so make travel squad... it gets whittled down fast... A very different "process" than the High School game... Competition like you have never seen... But work hard...Get better... Grow up and you will get there!!!

 

It may vary program to program but basically each have their "process" by which this type thing happens.

Western Carolina University Football is on the Rise in 2014... (7 - 5) / Second Place in SoCon.

Ranked at # 46 Nationally / D-1 FCS.

 

Richmond is Ranked at # 16...  (8 -4)

 

Presbyterian # 39... (6 -5)

Western Carolina University Spring Football Game was last Saturday April 18th at 1:00pm

A great game with the Purple team winning this year.... Go WCU Cats!!!

 

- Swaringen having Labrum surgery in May 2015 right after WCU spring season. Rehab with team trainers this summer and most likely on IR going into 2015 season...

I understand B.J. Beecher is no longer playing football at Wingate University.

If NCAA football did not work out for him... B.J. will go down as a great NCHSAA quarterback!!!

 

Looks like Alex Maganda Gonzalas is getting it done at Morehouse College in Atlanta as their Kicker!
